Ok, so time to put the Steelers dilemma aside for the time being. It’s time to get back to really important matters. This to me, means camera gear, outdoors, IKPS, and so much more.

Also, now it’s mid-spring and heading towards summer, then I need to be focused and ready for the weather. Don’t misunderstand this, I am not bothered what the weather decides to throw at me. It’s all weather. The following list may give you some idea.

It’s glorious and sunny : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s roasting outside : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s a bit dull : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s a bit breezy out there : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s very windy : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s a bit foggy : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s starting to rain : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s pissing down : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s close to midnight : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s about 3 in the morning : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s almost tea time : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s Eastenders on the telly : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s boring indoors : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”
It’s 3 foot deep in snow : - “Great, let’s chuck the machine in the car and bugger off somewhere!”

Obviously, this last one is a bit extreme in spring and summer, and is generally blamed on global warming. But no matter what the weather decides to do, I can always think up an excuse to go out with the gear.

Then all you need to do, is include something in your daily idea which is photogenic, and bingo, you have your theme for the day. Such things that can be classed as photogenic could be as follows :-

People.
Animals.
Weather.
Plants.
Trees.
Roads.
Cars.
Buildings.
Landscapes.
Sea.
Anything with water.
Anything without water.
Sky.
Clouds.
Yourself.

In fact, just about anything can be photogenic, so basically, whatever I may find on my travels, there you go, ready made material worth photographing. So to narrow the list down a bit, a couple of hints as to what you can do.

1.       If it moves, it can be photographed.
2.       If it doesn’t move, it can be photographed.

Hope this clears things up.

Anyway, enough for now. No doubt, I will get time to natter on about this subject quite a bit.

Mart.
